Vintage (my mom used this in the '50s, and then I'd wear it in the '60s-'70s) ~ Looks great over a turtleneck or cowl-neck sweater and REALLY WORKS (see last photo). I have no idea if it's gold-filled or what, but it's never tarnished and still looks as bright and shiny as it every did! The magnifying glass pendant is 1-3/4" across with a little 1" "rope-wrapped" stem which has the circles that the chain goes through. The chain is 14-3/4" on each side when I hold it up (measuring from the twist-lock to where it meets the pendant). There's a photo of the twist lock (although this easily goes over your head). Not only trendy and something that no one else will have, but functional too!
