7. Vintage Pastel Mink Fur Jacket with Leather Inserts, Huntington Furs, 1960s

This beautiful jacket is in excellent vintage condition: I can find no flaws. The fur is soft, shiny, luxuriant and supple. Closure is via 4 furrier hooks down the front. There is a roomy 6" pocket on each side and an interior pocket on the right side. The coat is lined in pale gold silky satin with an allover gold design. Please be sure to note the chic 4" upturned collar which, when left open at the neck, forms the iconic 4" lapel. Note, too, the interesting taupe leather inserts on the jacket. Approximate measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 15” Armpit to armpit: : 17” Back length: 22.5” Sleeve length: 19 What a wonderful example of usable 1960s glam style at its best! This coat would certainly enhance - or be the focal point of - your contemporary or vintage ensemble and would be a fantastic addition to your vintage collection.
