Vintage Resistol 4X Beaver Felt, (Open Road Clone). I bought this hat in 1992 and for some reason that I don't remember, had the brim trimmed. I discovered this hat in my storage closet in a box, and decided to take it to a hat shop and get it cut down and shaped to resemble my hat of choice, a Stetson Open Road. The hat is in remarkable shape and has been well preserved. It is size 7 3/8.

slapahorseonya hello I hope you are doing well. is the leather sweat band dry rotted due to age? I have numerous cowboy hats and really want to buy a black open road 6x but just bought a brown one for $320 so I'm going to have to wait to do so but I am interested in this at the right price

slapahorseonya also again, haha, do you remember what style name resistol hat this is? kind of hard to tell exactly what the crown looks like in these photos. how much does it look like an open road? how wide is the brim? 2 3/4 in? is it a 4½ in crown? Thank you
