I purchased it for my college dorm in 2005 and have not ever been able to use it, as I still haven't lived anywhere with a single switch! It is opened but never used/installed so there are no wear marks. The switch cover is metal, but painted with a beige, enamel paint on the front. It features Chococat and says "Chococat" at the top and has flowers and a tiny blue bird. There are 2 screw holes and a spot for the light switch to come through. It is silver metal and on the back is printed "© 96' 05' Sanrio"
