This ceramic black dog pitcher or vase also appears to be quite rare. Manufactured in Japan at least twenty years ago. There appears to be nothing like it available over the Internet. I am not surprised. It is pretty creepy. PERFECT for Halloween! Or a Gothic arrangement. It can be used as a pitcher for beverages, as a vase for dead flower arrangements, or some other imaginative purpose. Because of its size and delicate nature, this may only be bundled with items that will fit inside of it (e.g., necklaces, earrings, etc.) or that can be safely packaged around it to help secure it (e.g., scarves, clothes, table runners, etc.).
