Vintage Depression Era Blue Lustreware Iridescent Teapot Made in Japan

Measures aprox 4 1/2" wide 4 3/4" long
Lustreware is a type of ceramic painted with an iridescent metallic pigment over a glaze. It was initially used to decorate glass in Iraq, where it originated in the 10th century. Most Japan lustreware was imported from the mid-1920s to the end of the 1930s.
