This is a beautiful vintage/antique New Rochester lamp, made in USA. Very little patina except on lamp base, which has darkened age-related patina. The pink and gold/brown globe is about 9" in diameter and 9" tall, and features 4 different scenes with baby angels/cherubs around the globe. The globe is in perfect condition -- no chips, cracks, or discolorations. With the globe in place it measures about 30 1/2" tall.
I purchased this beauty at an estate sale and have no idea how to work it. I can't seem to unscrew the fill cap, but taking the top flame diffuser (I guess that's what you call it) off it is obvious that it has been used at some point in the past as it smells of kerosene. It may need a wick added to it, but don't know -- all my experience with antique or even modern kerosene or oil lamps are the "Plain Jane" ones -- the ones with a ribbon type wick that moves up and down with a dial that turns. The lever is attached to "something" inside the fuel container and with some pressure it smoothly moves up and down, as I am sure it should. The beautiful globe has no signs of use.
I know the elderly lady I purchased it from said she had only used it for decoration for the last 20-30 years.
The base measures about 9" in diameter. On the base is the imprint R.L. Co., which I assume means Rochester Lamp Company. It is shown in a photo. "The New Rochester" and "Made in USA" is stamped into the brass and is also shown in a photo. Brass & globe in excellent condition!

I checked this particular lamp online and E.T.S.Y has exactly the same photos you have posted. Same lamp and dollie and table. Why is that? I’m confused?

You aren't confused...I have it listed in both places. I have collected antique and vintage items for 30 years and am starting to get rid of many of them. I am more likely to sell such items on Etsy and for better prices, but I am willing to let this go to you for less that Etsy prices. If it had sold on Etsy, I would have removed it from POSH. Actually, this lamp is fairly new to my collection and only recently listed for sale.

To clarify, I get paid for shipping cost on Etsy, whereas on POSH I will have to cover shipping for the lamp (minus the globe, which is covered by what you pay POSH). How much the lamp (minus the globe) costs via Etsy depends upon yours and my zip codes, plus weight, size, etc. POSH shipping at $7-something is an amazing deal!!! POSH made some kind of special contract with the post office. If I sell ANYTHING 1 lb or over, no matter how small it is, my shipping cost using Etsy is at least that.

@betterwithage66 ohhhh okkk I get it lol I was rather confused! You’re a heck
Of a business person! Good job! And yes Poshmark is amazing! I haven’t quite yet started to sell my most expensive items because I don’t have time till I retire next year November 2025. I’ve been working criminal defense for 22 years and I’m tired! Lol

And another seller has one similar to yours but it’s cracked and she clued it back together which loses its value now. However, it’s a lamp and beautiful 😍.
