There are imperfections in the glass, also at little color loss to the flowers. These boxes were made in monasteries, but also by private individuals, usually women. This is most definitely a conversation starter. Very unique. Great for a alter This says 1928 on the bottom, but that could have been the date that it was purchased or found.
