Vintage 1937-1958 Authentic Vernonware Set of 2 bowls with handles and lids.

This vintage Vernonware is the Organdie pattern produced by Vernon Kilns (1931-1958). Vernon Kilns from Vernon, California was renowned for their high-quality production and design. Organdie was designed by artist Gale Turnbull and was the first plaid Vernonware. The Organdie pattern was produced between 1937 and 1958. Each piece is hand painted under glaze so each piece is a little bit different. Excellent condition. Only one defect, a chip is present under one of the lids. Please see last photo. Width is 6.5” including handle, 4” without handle. 3.5” tall with lid.
