Antique Bristol Glass Biscuit Jar

This antique biscuit jar has a handpainted floral design in pink, blue and greens. The top portion of the jar is powder blue while the bottom is white. This bristol glass piece is unmarked. It dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. The jar has a silverplate lid and handle which have darkened over the years. The plating on the handle is worn and flaking revealing a grey base metal. The lid is bent as is the metal around the top rim. Please see photos. It is a unique, interesting, beautiful antique biscuit jar. Measurements: 6” high without lid x 5.5” wide.
