Vintage 1960s/70s Red Patent Naugahyde Leather Large Shoulder Bag

Large patent Naugahyde shoulder bag with flap closure Vintage 1960s/70s based on style and materials, no label The main material used on this bag is Naugahyde leather, which was a unique faux leather used for accessories during the mid century. It has an interesting texture to it as well, and on top of that, this version is patent, aka shiny leather. But rest assured this is faux leather not from a animal The inside of the bag is lined in what feels like a thick furniture fabric. There is a slip pocket on the front The flap just folds over the top, there is no magnet or clasp or anything like that. This is in pretty amazing condition for how old it is. The structure is in great condition (I have had it for about ten years myself and I’ve kept it stuffed when I wasn’t carrying it) There are some marks, scuffs, and some discoloration from color transfer (probably from jeans and such) all shown in photos 11 inches across 8 inches deep 4 inches wide 16 inch strap In all my searching I’ve never come across another Naugahyde piece that was this unique and that’s structure was still in tact. The price reflects the rarity so please keep that in mind when making an offer.
