nikkipug @timart when I purchased this item, it was included. I have never unwrapped it. It was a beauty pouch that was a VIP/GWP and she converted the pouch into a crossbody, meaning she added the hooks and chain. Hope that explains your question. It is a heavy well made chain. Thank you
