nicolerenee632 @njcoolgirl1984 Hi! At least on my screen, color is true to life. I tried to make sure the hue was really accurate in photos because it is more orange-y than a deep cherry red, for example. When I went out with a bunch of friends in red jackets, mine did look much more orange by comparison. That being said, it’s a more complimentary color for me than deep red, which has a tendency to make my skin look more splotchy since I’m olive-toned.

celluccimelissa I have VB blazers in 0 and 4. How does this fit (compared to others if you have any)?

nicolerenee632 @celluccimelissa it fits TTS for miller jackets, and the fabric has some give to it (as compared to wool). I have a smaller waist but somewhat muscular shoulders and this fabric has some stretch (SCUBA) so it was never constricting in my arms and still gave me the desired silhouette. I definitely prefer the fit of this to my size 4 navy blue (on me)… but I was so obsessed with the WW lining style I couldn’t resist the navy even with my size sold out!

nicolerenee632 If you want, I could take measurements of the waist and shoulders on the navy 4 and red 2 for comparison? If you have a miller jacket in 4 that could be a useful reference?

celluccimelissa @nicolerenee632 I misspoke. My schoolboy is a 2. My dickey jacket a 0. I am 5'1", 110#, 34C and wear size 24 jeans and I am also muscular. If that sounds anything like you. will try to try on a Miller jacket locally and see. Thanks.

celluccimelissa @nicolerenee632 I don't look great in orangey-red but your photo looks a lot more red than the stock photo. The navy is more practical but I already own a navy and the red is badass. I just hate no returns! Makes it so hard to pull the trigger.

nicolerenee632 @celluccimelissa I hear ya! I’d recommend you try on the scuba fabric miller— you might be a 0 based on your frame (since it has some give in the shoulders with that fabric). Not to talk you out of buying mine- but I’d hate for such a big purchase and then not have it fit well… Because it’s definitely an attention-grabbing color!! (For reference- I’m 5’6/ 135#/ 25” waist)

awhittler Hi! What is the color VB calls this? I have the Tani pant in “FLAME.” It’s not “flame red,” which is a different color. (I know because I have a Veronica Beard suit in that “flame red” color) and I’m trying to find the blazer that will match my Tani pants. Thanks!
