EUC Audrey Hepburn-esque black wool wide brimmed hat by Giovannio of Florence (Italy) / New York. Worn once to a very hi-brow, black tie event and then stored away. This is a “formed” hat meaning the shape is rigid (but not uncomfortable). The edge of the wide brim curves downward slightly. The bottom of the crown is wrapped in a soft, silky black fabric culminating in a beautiful bow (worn facing the front). Exquisite black netting encircles the sides and front. Two soft, black feathers, most likely ostrich, rise from the bow and flutter with the slightest breeze. There is one small tear in the netting (see photo) but the way the netting rests on the brim, is hard to notice. This hat is absolutely stunning and deserves to be worn and enjoyed!
