Gucci produced the Bear Ornament in the late 90’s when Tom Ford was Creative Director These are made from Crystal, not glass. Extremely fragile, and spectacular. 6 1/2” height 3 1/4” wide 3 1/4” deep The style is reminiscent of a Jeff Koons balloon animal. There is a sterling silver G on the top with the Gucci brand stamp. It can be used as a hook yet I found ribbon works best and to leave the G attached. The color is smoke. A film has been placed over the crystal to give each bear their color. There is also red, black, and silver. In their original boxes a black foam was used to fit the bears snugly. The foam adhered to small areas on the film over the bears over time and looks like a light fingerprint , or very light smudge mark. Most are barely noticeable and on the back or arm of the bears. These are extremely rare and often only sold Separately.
