Rare design. “Chevaux de trait” silk, designed by Laurence Bourthomieux, circa early 1990s. Featuring a draft horse design; a deep red border with gold and browns. A few small holes in edges, as is normal with vintage items (all pictured) 100% silk, Paris France “Hermes Carre 90 CHEVAUX DE Trait Horse Scarf Red Silk” While Hermes does not give COA on vintage items, I emailed their “Documentaliste in Paris” and they have confirmed the design as Rouge H silk is the “Chevaux de trait” silk, designed by Laurence Bourthomieux. It first came out in the early 1990’s.
