The gold filled bangle has a center front engraved square surrounded by an ornate Etruscan design. On each side is a half moon shape with a three leaf clover and Etruscan wire work. A twisted with with a center flower extends between the square center and the crescent moon shapes. The hinged bracelet has a smooth back and is closed with a pin style clasp and safety chain. These bracelets came in pairs and were known as wedding bracelets back in the Victorian era. This is an exquisite and well cared for piece of antique jewelry that will be sure to please the most discerning collector!”
Measurements: 6 5/8" on the inside. The bracelet is oval so it sits comfortably on the wrist.
Circa: 1860-1870
Condition: Very good to Excellent with no wear to the gold fill.

@vintage_seller1 thanks for the connecting me with this gem?!! unfortunately i have gigantic wrists after being passenger during an intense car accident where i tried to stop myself by placing my hands flat on the airbag. of course after impact the airbag blew and so did both my wrists. moral; i need to be able to add links to bracelets to be able to wear them but thanks for the tune in. it’s gorgeous. wish i could…
