Blue on Blue - Tie Dyed 100% Silk Camp Shirt

This was a pale blue 100% silk camp shirt in excellent condition, except for a small discoloration. I had expected to tie it up 2 or 3 times and add so much blue I could call it a Blue Demon, or something like that. Well, this shirt is a sweetheart. It came out so nicely after the first tie it wouldn't make sense to add any more color. It has a lot of blues now. All the way from light turquoise to dark navy. I'm trying to create an illusion of depth with layers of color. I'm breaking all sorts of beautiful Procion dyes and basic rules to further the illusion. After it was dyed I washed this shirt in Synthrapol once and unscented detergent formulated for sensitive skin twice. I use unscented fabric softener, but I do not iron or starch these shirts because I consider them wash and wear.
