Beautiful vogue enameled roses round covered butter dish by Jefferson Glass Company in Follensbee, West Virginia. The gorgeous green glass is pressed then handed enameled with a pattern of wild roses which required the glass to be fired multiple times to achieve the final result. This piece remains in very good used vintage condition with normal wear especially to the fragile gold trim. There is a photo showing one small chip to one of the points on the scalloped edge of the bottom platter. There is another picture of a popped bubble on one of the top scallops on the lid. This is a flaw that happens during manufacturing. There is also a small spot of paint photoed on the lid, also a manufacturing flaw. No other chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Measurements - 6" tall x 7.5" wide. A gorgeous piece!
