Mens Banana Republic Pink Linen Dress Shirt, Size L

Purchased for the husband for a Kentucky Derby Party and worn once, this shirt is a medium weight washed linen in a pale pink. Little did I know when I set out to get him an outfit that a stylish pink dress shirt would be so hard to find! I would characterize this pink as a blue-pink versus a peach-pink. The style is labeled “untucked” and it is a slim fit, size large. I loved the weight and look of the linen so much I fancied keeping it for myself but it is too narrow in the body for a DD. Please regard the measurements when determining whether or not it will fit! I photographed it twice: the last 5 pictures are straight out of the dryer so you can see how it looks if you are not one to iron. In the others I hand pressed it with a hot steam iron on the linen setting. I did not sprinkle it. Linen is my favorite textile and I do not mind the wrinkles and I find pressing it “restful." This is a heavier weight linen than you usually see in a dress shirt so I think the wrinkles are baked in. I also think it is why it looks so good right out of the dryer. Measurements: Chest measurement under arm at armpit/sleeve seam = 45" Torso measurement 6” down from chest Measurement = 46” (so slim fit) Inside neck measurement buttoned = 18” Sleeve length shoulder seam to cuff edge = 26” Sleeve length center back neck to cuff edge = 36"
