Natural RUBY & Diamond Ring 1.72 CTW, 14K White & Yellow Gold 1/2 Bezel, size 7

Beautiful Oval Ruby ring with 2 round side Diamonds in a 3 stone Past, Present, & Future design with 14K White Gold body & 14K Yellow Gold half-bezel setting for the NATURAL mined Ruby. GIA graduate gemologist, A.B. Labs gave a value of $4500 in 2006, & says that the Ruby has fine medium-dark red color & good clarity (MI). It's good clarity lets light run through it very well. Worn for about 6 years, it's in good condition, inspected, cleaned, & polished by a goldsmith before putting it away. The 1.40 Carat Ruby has a beautiful color, the reason it caught my eye. The 2 round .16ctw each diamonds on the side of this stunner are clear & bright, being near colorless H-I and SI1-SI2 Slightly Included eye clean clarity. The shank is 2mm wide, 1mm thick. The head is 6mm high, & 9mm wide.  Designed by Joseph Kassab Jewelers in Portland, Oregon, the setting was handmade by Bashoura in California, then Joe picked the Ruby & Diamonds & set them in his store. The half-bezel setting is quite unique, with the bezels in 14K Yellow Gold, on the North & South ends of the oval Ruby. The rest of the setting in 14K White Gold. Bashoura is signed inside the band. It has 1.72 Total Carat Weight. I've lost the original sales papers on the ring, & the store doesn't keep records for 2003 when I purchased it. It is a beautiful ring with stunning gems in it, very different than all the rest, yet has that flavor of 3 stone rings of today & yesterday. It will come in the RED velveteen box. It is Size 7.
