are you able to lie the shorts out and measure the waistband? are these true to size or run small?

@miss_matcha hi I just added a pic, measures at just under 12” waist. Waist measurements for activewear can be misleading because it’s very stretchy. I have about a 27.5” and it still fit well. I also paid full price for this $58 plus tax and only selling it for $7 since I need to declutter.
