Nikolai Tsang one-of-kind jade necklace. Nikolai has been cultivating her love of jade carvings and jewelry throughout her life. Growing up in a family of jewelers, Nikolai's talents were nurtured by her father. Upon graduation from the Fashion Institute of design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, she established Jade by Nikolai to manufacture her distinctive, contemporary jewelry by utilizing all nine natural colors of Burmese jadite on silk cord, often embellished with various gemstones. Each piece is handmade in the workshops in Honolulu and Hong Kong. I purchased this piece in Honolulu and had the distinct opportunity of meeting Nikolai. This necklace has green, white, and tan jade, all attached with silk cord.It fastens by sliding the cord to tighten around the green jade ball. It is a gorgeous display of the finest artistry.
