Made in Italy, double breasted winter coat with tie belt from Dayton’s/Hudson’s/Marshall Fields. I was a menswear buyer for Dayton’s in those days and my husband would complain he was just a Ken doll. This has a soft saddle shoulder, similar to a raglan but better fitting and more adaptable to different body styles. Alpaca is one of the warmest fibers available and it is lightweight. Blended here with mohair and polyester with an acetate and rayon blend lining. It has 3 inside pockets along with the large slash pockets on the front. Unique dark charcoal gray with heathering. This was sized to go over his suits because in those days he was a corporate guy. His suits were a 42R. See the measurements for this coat below. The tag inside of the pocket is barely legible and it looks like it says 54R or 34R but one can barely read it and either is absurd so please heed the measurements! Generally I can wear a 40 in a tailored mens coat and this is gigantic on me. It was always big on him if he wasn’t wearing a suit under. Please message me for more pictures or measurements!
