For those, I removed the pillowcase, machine washed it with natural soap and baking soda, then rinsed with white vinegar, then air dried in the sun to sterilize (shown in photos). I have new ones without the package and new ones that have been slightly damaged when the package ripped (only light damage to the pillowcase). The pillowcase is removable by full zip.
