I honestly don’t know what type of fur this is but it is coarse and relatively long hair, fluffy underneath. I believe it is a silver tipped raccoon. The tips of most of the hairs are white. It was custom-made for a lady LL Wallace. Approx measurements laid flat 20” pit-pit, 25” long sleeve length from the shoulder seam is 22”. Please note that the hook is bent out of shape, but still functional. There are no pockets. As you can see in one of the photos, this appears to be multiple separate long strips of fur that are sewn together, not one uniform pelt. I have about six other genuine fur coats for sale! Check me out! If you would like to know more about the company history, part of an article —“Alliance Mayor Alan Andreani declared April 30 as “Lingenfelter-Brill Day,” marking the closure of the legendary retail shop that operated in the city for 82 years. After about a month of sales of the shop’s final goods, owner Peggy Brill retired upon closure that day. Brill was the wife of Keith Brill, who with his brother, Harold, ran the shop after his parents retired. John and Kay Brill founded what initially was a fur repair shop, but later became an outlet where fine furs were purchased both locally and by buyers around the country. In a proclamation presented April 30 to Peggy Brill, Andreani cited “the store’s 82 years of faithful service to the Alliance Community.” It also said “customers enjoyed excellent customer service, outstanding quality, and exceptional variety.”
