Fits more like a 6/8 2 button side/hip closure Side pockets - right pocket is fully functional, left pocket is built into button closure so there is no side seem, can not store anything in left pocket, but perfect to rest hand. This is not a flaw, skirt was designed this way for easy open and button up convenience.
