does this need a developer? and does matrix have one that is specifically designed to go with these toners?

@moniquetferrari Yes, it does…. If you decide to purchase this I will send a couple bottles of matrix developer in your package for free ☺️.

@moniquetferrari What kind of color are you looking for? Maybe I can put something together for you specific to what you want.

@hair_ric28 thanks so much for youre offer. I recently purchased a four piece shades eq set from you that I'm set to receive tomorrow... so thanks. I'm not a licensed hairdresser but an avid DYI hair gal with some knowledge that does her own hair always because I can't afford the astronomical rates they charge where I live in San Francisco to get it professionally done, so over time I've been learning on my own.

@hair_ric28 where I struggle is not with lightening application, I'm great at balayageing my own hair but I struggle with toning and and root smudges/tap to really obtaining that end quality salon results all the all gals are looking for but since I lack color theory and such I don't know what combos are the best to achieve what I want. I don't mind investing a considerable amount of money if I knew for certain it would give me the result I'm looking for.

@moniquetferrari That’s is very impressive and admirable. I love that you have enough passion and desire to get what you want while fighting against the highway robbery that goes on in most salons… I wish I had the knowledge to share with you. My knowledge is very limited. What I do have is some salon products at lower prices that most can get it. Hopefully it will give you some cushion to go through some trial and error while figuring it out 🙂

@moniquetferrari I also have quite a few swatch/recipe books that I can send with your order that can most certainly help. Depending on what brand you want I’ll send the corresponding booklets with ration information.

here are my hair stats.
I'm a natural level 2-3 brunette (I'm half Italian and half English/Irish/Dutch).
I'm currently baylaged to a level 5-8 depending on the lightened strand/piece and prefer to keep my roots as close to my natural as possible (since it's been 2 months since last lightening it's super orange/red brassy).
my end game is a lightened 7-10 combo with a natural diffused root shadow to match my level 2-3 root (which might even be 3-4 now im not certain).

@hair_ric28 I'd really prefer to invest in 1 color line (id buy that companies book if it will help me with formulations) and I've heard shades EQ is the best. I'm hoping what I bought m 10n 9v 6n & crystal clear combo will achieve what I want after 1 more full hair balayage lifting my lengths & ends to a 8-10. I wanted to incorporate the 10p in place of the 10n (prefer ash)! what are you're thoughts? and will the 6n be ok to diffuse my root shadow naturally w/ my ends?

@hair_ric28 thanks for you're response. with the stats I gave could you do a basic formula and I'll buy whatever product you have to achieve it? it doesn't have to be shades EQ line. and I've hearted a ton of products on you're page but would like to purchase... i love/need redken 21 benefits spray and a good invisible dry shampoo and and a good light hairspray as well.

@hair_ric28 I prefer a ashy/beige blonde combo for my 8-10 level ends to tone and whatever level N I need to naturally diffuse my roots by melting my natural level 2-3 dark brown roots with my 8-10 blonde ends. hope this helps with picking me some color options!

@moniquetferrari Hi! I hope you’re having a great week so far. I have not forgotten about you by any means. I do have sooo many different kinds of color and I am trying to ask around to some of my contacts to put together the best stuff for you…. Although I have mostly blonde tones, go figure, I do have what you are looking for in different brands and types…… quick question though, would you want mostly semi perm or do you want mostly permanent???
