Faded to a dark brown from age Some photos have been lightened to show detail. The weave on this is just exquisite   100% silk No shattering, no metallic salts used in creation 10” fringe, hand knotted One section has a small tear, see photos. There are numerous pinholes, small tears, and a section of the fringe is missing  When held up to the light, you can see the damage, but the fabric itself is still very strong, soft, and only has a faint vintage smell The piece itself is so soft when you touch it, including the silk fringe. The fringe is a little bit crinkled but if you take a bottle of distilled water and a cap full of fabric softener and put them into a spray bottle and gently spray the fringe you can comb it out with your fingers and it will dry straight. Sold as is. Altogether about 5ft by 5ft without fringe, or 6ft-7ft with fringe. I measured it at about 64“ x 60“ for the fabric no fringe but it was very hard to measure because it is so large it is bigger than anywhere in my house I can safely place it down unless I wanted to be covered in a cat immediately. I know you’re thinking cat fur, no I mean literally a cat. If I had set this down my cat would’ve jumped on top of it immediately and gone to bed.
