Antique Art Nouveau Hand Mirror, Warranted Quadruple Plated Silver

Quadruple plated silver means that the item is coated with a 0.012 " thick layer of silver. These items were made of a more affordable base layer Such as copper or nickel and then electroplated With an outer layer of silver. They were mostly made in the 19th century. The small hand mirror (they had small faces back then) Has a nice weight to it. Round mirror on the reverse reflects beautifully Considering its age and it is beveled. No damage to silvering on mirror. Lots of floral etching on the opposite side It is currently polished as shown in photos and is being stored in an airtight bag and will be sent to you polished, but it will tarnish in time.
