Cassiterite on Muscovite w/ aquamarine

This gorgeous black rosette of crystals is so lustrous that you can shave in it, and perched perfectly on contrasting crystallized muscovite blades. The cassiterite is 4.4 cm across tip to tip, sharply twinned, complete, and without repairs or damage. It is aesthetic, balanced perfectly...just a miracle find. Its from The ancient tungsten mine atop remote Mt. Xuebaoding this mountain in western China’s Sichuan Province, situated in the rugged Tibetan Plateau region. Famous for over 25 years for producing the world’s finest scheelite crystals, occasionally these will have beryld grown on them too. this specimen has 2 small aquas on top
