Repurposed vintage handmade mini skirt, never worn, SZ Med

repurposed vintage artisan handmade, hand dyed mini skirt with handsewn patchwork detail, never worn. I bought the original version of this skirt from an artist at a street art fair (20 yrs ago), I planned on adding some handsewn patches with this vintage geometric & Japanese fabric on to it but never got around to it (until recently!) it had some patchwork paneling (machine sewn) I hadn't realized that the dark forest green cotton material has been recently handled dyed until I started to hand wash it the other day and my hands turned green for the remainder of the day! it also appears some of the dye from the green portions bled into the patches beside them, making some parts splotchy. Personally, I don't mind, that splotchy distressed stained appearance but that's something to keep in mind, I'm not well versed in dyes but I've heard that you should hand dye separately at least the 1st few washes to avoid any unwanted dye mishaps. But of course, consult w Google if uncertain how to proceed w washing hand dyed items for best results!
