I soaked this in wool soap and removed various pieces of vegetable matter from it to improve its wear. It was blocked and air-dried. I also lint rolled and shaved all of the pilling I could remove. This has been mended in several places and l've noticed one gap in the front of the flower. There is some color bleeding on the flower. This is a very special and rare piece that will need love and care as it is worn! It is not perfect but a lot has gone into restoring this to some of its original glory.
