Clean inside, no smells, fabulous bag. This bag is still online though the strap has changed. I like this one better because it’s adjustable and thicker for more comfort. Both straps are removable. Italian leather trim, easy clean. About 12” at edges top to bottom & about 9.5” in the middle. And 14” wide
