In the late 1950s/early 60s my there was a solution to those raucous days and ways, which was the UNBREAKABLE tree ornaments, made to look like mercury glass but actually constructed of mystery-plastic. And not just any ol' mystery plastic but material made in the USA. The ornaments each contain a vignette from the Nativity: one of Mary and Joseph with the Christ Child in the manger, and three with each of the Wise Men. The box is a bit rumpled yet the ornaments are in good condition with some small scratches, because even if they were unbreakable, they weren't unscratchable. Each ornament measures about 4" tall. Very special unbreakable vintage ornaments--but please, don't test them!
