wonderstar Hi, I just double checked the measurement of pit to pit for you and it's correct in the listing. Must run big if you compared it to a coat you have at home of the same size. Sometimes winter coats have a larger outside measurment because of the padding and insulation taking up space. Hope that helps. Thanks
