Department 56 Original Snow Village Fisherman's Nook Resort

For sale is a used, in very good condition, hand painted ceramic figure from Department 56's The Original Snow Village collection. This piece is named "Fisherman's Nook Resort." It features a cute cabin complete with sweet details like a canoe, gas pump, ice box, and swinging bait & tackle sign. The electric plug is included, but the bulb is not. Dept. 56 introduced this item in 1994 and retired it in 1999. I believe I got this item in 1997. I have been the only owner and rarely displayed it. I did write my initial ("J's") on two spots of the Styrofoam packaging, drew two circles on one side of the Styrofoam, and wrote my name ("Jennifer's) on the box (see listing photos), so my family could easily distinguish which figurines belonged to which person back when they were all stored together. Being that the box is over 20 years old, there are some condition issues (again, see listing's pictures). Although there are some tears and rips to the cardboard box, none of that affects the figure itself. This piece measures approximately 8.5" wide, 6.5" high, and 11.75" long. The box itself is about 9.5" high, 9.25" wide, and almost 13" long. It truly is a great piece to add to either your own Dept. 56 collection or Christmas scene.
