🆕 Handmade silk knee-lenght beach or casual dress / vintage / Martinique artist

Unique as it is designed & made by hand by a local artist fr/Martinique island. Bought locally in the 1980’s. Hand-dyed using a special technique by the artist who signed it. Pure silk: lets you skin breathe when the temperature is hot. You can wear it in the evening with the right accessories. The flowing light silk will nicely flatters your forms & the warm tone of the colours will enhance your tan. Multicolours with warm tones of red, turquoise, orange & yellow as well as lime green. The hues vary with the light. See pictures on the floor for how it is made & the stitches on each side. Has been folded where the stitches are on a picture on the floor with fine dividing lines over it. Shoulders have ties of the same silk fabric as the dress. Timeless cut. Designed as a relaxed free and flowing style. Best is to look at measurements to make sure it fits your body & your style. Purchased when a size 8. Measurements in inches when flat: Shoulder to shoulder:~12 Pit 2 pit: ~16-17 Note: The mannequin is short (like a 10 years old girl size) so pictures give a false impression of the dress being long. On an adult tall woman it about knee-long. Its length at the point of the triangle (see picture on floor) is ~46 inches Condition: it is artisan-made so not perfect, for example, irregularity in the dye - this is what makes its beauty & uniqueness. Never used & never washed but vintage (1980’s) and it was moved several times.
