De Feo is known for defacing fashion advertisements and magazine covers with his colourful and distinctive flower blossoms, and for over 20 years, has been painting floral murals in the streets of New York and cities around the world. He captured J.Crews attention last spring when his fashion takeover paintings included a J.Crew bus shelter ad. The brand has since embraced the artist, and the collaboration resulted in a rainbow of flower prints on J.Crew short-sleeve tees.
