Could be pilling or slight wrinkling of the cups, etc. Bra appears to have been worn a time or two (if that), didn't become "the chosen" bra, and was probably set aside. I gently hand washed and hung this bra up to dry to protect the cups & the integrity of the bra, and all of my molded/padded bras are shipped in a box to further protect them!
