This beautiful vintage French Provincial Musical jewelry box dates to the late 1960s, and was made in Japan. It measures 18-1/2" long x 9-3/8" tall x 7-1/2" wide. There are 3 drawers down each side, with interior dimensions of 3-5/8" x 4-3/4" x 3-5/8" x 1-3/8" deep. There are 3 drawers down the center, 2 of which are behind the small doors. The top drawer has interior dimensions of 4-1/8" x 6-1/8" x 1-1/2" deep, and the 2 bottom drawers have interior dimensions of 4-5/8" x 6-1/8" x 1-3/8" deep. All of the drawers open and close freely, and are lined with green velvet. The Toyo music box plays "Strangers in the Night", and works perfectly, although it does make a bit of an odd noise now and then. I believe it just needs to be oiled, and is easily accessible behind the top center drawer. There are some cosmetic flaws here and there, and 2 spots on the top as can be seen in the photos. Still a fabulous piece, solid and sturdy, and so much room to store your jewelry.
