It’s cut from proprietary selvedge denim. “Selvedge” refers to the natural edge of the fabric, tightly bound to ensure longevity. It is premium quality denim woven on antique looms with an intricate, traditional process. The clean, fringeless edge and signature stitches result in a uniquely tailored look. This fabric has been crafted exclusively for us at Japan’s renowned Nisshinbo Mills, a leading selvedge manufacturer with a century-long legacy. Every drop counts, so we aim to use less water. Our designers are constantly thinking of new ways to create the same styles you love while cutting back on H2O, such as updating finishing techniques to require less water than traditional processes.
