Thete needs to be some room for the coffee grounds. It has a sturdy stainless frame in a chrome color, a black handle and borosilicate glass. It is dishwasher safe. Use coarse ground coffee and Add boiling water, wait 4 minutes and gently press the coffee down to strain off the liquid. Please watch a Bodum video before trying this for the first time.
