L.L. Bean's canvas storage totes are basically the home-organization version of their famous tote bags. They're made from the same rugged, 100% cotton canvas -- but designed to hold items on a floor or shelf. They have a rectangular shape with short handles on each end. Unlike cheaper storage bins, these totes are made from 100% fabric, with no cardboard inserts. The canvas, which features double-needle stitching on the edges, is durable enough for the sides of the tote to stand up on their own, even when empty. Because the all-fabric construction has no hard sides/sharp corners, the totes are great for organizing small items in playrooms, mud rooms, nurseries, and kid rooms. They can also be used on closet shelves to hold small linens and/or accessories. The tote in this listing is the medium size, which is approx. 9.5 inches high x 7.5 inches wide x 10.5 inches long. It weighs approx. 1 lb. I have 2 to sell. This tote was used and washed 1x. It's in great condition except the gray color rubbed/washed off in multiple places, particularly the bottom corners (see photos). Also, the tote is slightly smaller than when new due to shrinking after washing (though it was air-dried, not placed in the dryer.) Accordingly, I've discounted the price, which is $34.95 when new. Fyi ,L.L. Bean no longer sells the tote in this color, so this is a great opportunity to get a rare item! To re-shape the canvas, you can wet and air-dry it. L.L.
