Double Shot leather has a great pull up effect,re-tanned and then double stuffed with natural oils and waxes to give this leather a great look and soft feel to the foot without compromising wear and durability. This leather is 2.5-2.8MM in thickness. The color is beautiful and will pair with anything and still tough enough for the job site. We call this leather "Rogue" because it looks brown-ish, red-ish, burgundy-ish and couldn't settle on a true color name! We are using a veg tanned leather toe box (no plastic or celastic), leather heel counter, shank and heel base. One piece backstay / pull loop, scored midsole to place shank and nails precisely on each pair of boots, Our contractor series has the same upper design and pattern as our Drew's Loggers but in shorter heights and built with Vibram 430 Mini Lug soles for more versatility on the job site, hitting the town with your spouse Our last:We took the 55 shoe last used in the PNW boot industry for decades and made it better! With boots on the ground and listening to our customers for years, we knew there was a better way. we added about an 1/8" to the outside of the last to allow more room in the toe box and eliminate that "pinkie rub." We also raised the instep slightly to allow an easier foot entry into the boot. With the fit alterations to the last and the pre-molded insole, these boots will be the best and easiest break-in of the industry.
