It’s a visor with a bit of head coverage too, a combination between a visor and a hat / cap. It leaves the back of your head open so you can wear a ponytail with it easily! It is made from a synthetic material, likely polyester. It has an adjustable elastic strap on the back. The strap has a hook and loop closure, so you can undo it to take the hat off rather than pulling it off your head as-is. The adjuster is a standard slide-style adjuster. The strap hardware is made from painted black metal. It has two silver metal circle accents on the side. I am not sure if they have a purpose or if they are just for decoration.
