Please look at the pics closely! I personally bought this Monogram Bucket Bag at the Forum Shops in Las Vegas Louis store back in 2000! It was made in France 12/99. The exterior is in fabulous condition no scratches or tears, the inside of the bag not so much. I peeled off about 1/3 of the upper most degraded coating and it’s now a smooth fabric. I included a pic of where I stopped and the rest is in tact but there are some marks. I used saddle soap to clean the interior and exterior and Brasso on the brass hardware. I found lightly rubbing to try to get a few pen marks out made things worse in some areas! Personally I would have the interior replaced by Louis but it is usable and not sticky. I read to use baby powder on the degrading interior leather and that was a big mistake… I feel some of the edge of the exterior is lighter now because of the powder but a brown leather polish would definitely help (but I don’t have any). Please ask questions!
