Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin Russian: Александр Сергеевич Пушкин 6 June [O.S. 26 May] 1799 – 10 February [O.S. 29 January 1837) was a Russian poet, playwright, and novelist of the Romantic era.
He is considered by many to be the greatest Russian poet and the founder of modern Russian literature.

The work of Russian poet and journalist Nikolay Alekseyevich Nekrasov centered on the theme of compassion for the sufferings of the peasantry. He also sought to express the vitality of peasant life in his adaptations of folk songs and poems for children.
These were found in my Father's collection of interesting coins.
