Among the many waterfalls in Oregon, you can find all kinds of wildlife. The Blue Heron are one of my favorite finds. It's a prime location for them to hunt for spawning salmon.
I painted this on a 11X14" hardboard panel, using top quality oils. It is framed in a 1 1/2" deep dark wood, designer box frame. It is signed, numbered and dated on the back.

@nicoleannfrost hi! Fellow Oregonian here! Did you happen to paint Opal Creek here? This looks SO familiar!

@nicoleannfrost but this was like a little hidden spot sort of off the beaten path past 3 Pools, yes? I literally have a photo of this exact place that used to be my husband and my “secret spot” for camping! It’s the craziest coincidence.

@dmarcus88 That is crazy! I prefer places like this, untouched and peaceful. I live half the year in Montana, and I've had people recognize places that I've painted there as well.
I hope this secret place stays that way for you 💙
