This vintage ring is an official Boys Scouts of America ring that has a fleur-de-lis, a Phoenix or a falcon, and the words "Be prepared" is written underneath the bird. It is engraved with "Sterling" "L" and marked with a 9. I'm assuming this was sized down from a size 9 because the band has been cut and soldered back together, and it's a size 8.5.
